Haven’t talked about fashion in awhile, so back at it! If there was only one top I could pick from to fit into my minimal wardrobe, I’d always pick a casual shirt. You can always roll up the sleeves for a more day-to-day look, or button up for a dressier look. They make anything seem like you put in the effort to be presentable, without the effort. How awesome is that?
I’m loving this chambray shirt from Eight and Sand. They’re headquartered here in Oakland, California and Austin Texas. Their shirts fit great, and their company philosophy is completely in line with my own. Inspired by the old American West, and paying homage to heirlooms that last, they source the best ethically made textiles (my popover is 100% long staple Egyptian Cotton, woven in Japan, stitched and designed in California). The stitching is simple yet tasteful. I could have a closet full of these.
